Anne Amelia Myers (1843-1882) was the daughter of a successful German-born tobacconist, John Henry Myers, whose store was in King Street, Sydney, and Charlotte Myers (nee Vardon). In 1867, Anne married telegraph operator Albert Field (1839-1870) and they lived in Bourke Street, Woolloomooloo.
