Dating: The beauties of Il crociato in Egitto published by I. Willis is reviewed as new music in The Monthly Magazine March, 1826.
This sheet music was most likely purchased in Sydney in 1839 from the music shop of Irishman Andrew Ellard (c1780-1859). Andrew had previously run a business in Dublin as a music publisher, music seller and music instrument maker, 1819-1838, and was the father of Francis Ellard who had established a music business in Sydney in 1833. Many of these pieces of music bound together in a single volume, by Sydney bookbinder C. Kern, contain a label for Ellard's Dublin Music Saloon and was probably part of the stock he had brought out to Australia. Ellard closed his Sydney business at the beginning of 1840 and Alexander Maconochie, commandant of Norfolk Island, purchased the remaining stock of music scores and musical instruments for use at the convict settlement.

Abstract:
Giovanni Battista (Giambattista) Velluti, (b Montolmo [now Corridonia], Ancona, Jan 28, 1780; d Sambruson di Dolo, Venice, Jan 22, 1861) was an Italian soprano castrato. The last of the great operatic castrati, Velluti was without a rival for the last
decade of his career. His retirement marked the end of an era in operatic history. (Grove Music online).
Maria (Caterina Rosalbina ) Caradori-Allan [née de Munck], (b Milan, 1800; d Surbiton, Oct 15, 1865) was an Alsatian soprano of Italian birth. (Grove Music online).
Maria (-Felicia) Malibran [née García], (b Paris, March 24, 1808; d Manchester, Sept 23, 1836). Spanish mezzo-soprano who made her London début at the King’s Theatre in June 1825 as Rosina (Il barbiere); subsequently she sang Felicia in the first British performance of Meyerbeer’s Il crociato in Egitto.
