all kinds' - with extracts (including a long discussion about hedges) from William Cobbett's 'American Gardener' provided to the compiler by a member of the Agricultural Society, endorsed with the comment that 'the Colonial gardener cannot but profit by this selection'.

Includes a directory of the 'Civil Establishment and Public Institutions, in the Territory of New South Wales and its Dependencies' and a directory of the 'Military Establishment in the Territory of New South Wales and its Dependencies'.

Includes a list of 'Vessels arrived & departed during the year 1824'.
