Bound in: Miss Margaret Hazlitt volume of music, circa 1795-1817, a privately bound collection of scores.
Bound with other items, catalogued separately.
John Hamilton's (publisher) first address was 24 North Bridge, opposite the post office in Edinburgh. Hamilton was established at this address at the very end of the eighteenth century (Frank Kidson). Hamilton died in 1814. Active in 1800-1805.
British Library has Nos 1 & 2 (9 pages). Pagination in no. 3 (this copy) numbered pp 10-13. The 3 scores are from a volume. No 3: Centre bottom of title page "To be continued" which suggests that there were more scores to be published. BL has dated their copies from a watermark 1802.

Bottom right hand corner of title page ".... Clarke", signature, first name illegible and the ink is faded.
Most of the scores in the Miss Margaret Hazlitt volume of music have watermarks in the paper dating from 1811-1817. It is probable that the scores were published between 1811 and 1822. Margaret Hazlitt also wrote her name and 1817 on a number of scores in this volume.
