This photograph has been attributed to Robert James Macgregor
Barnet through association with other similar photographs attributed
to him. The subjects of the photograph have also been provisionally
identified as the four daughters of Eugene Henry Stanley Nicolle and
his wife Catherine through the same association. The woman seated
in the centre of the photograph may be Catherine Nicolle, with her
youngest daughter Phyllis standing on her left. The Nicolle family
lived at Primbee on Lake Illawarra and were friends of the Barnets
who lived at this time in the Presbyterian Manse in Wollongong.
Robert Barnet's father was the Rev Donald McKay Barnet.
