One of 33 small photographs tipped into a hand-made album enclosed in a paper wrapper: 27.5 x 18 cm. The album is a record of the matinee 'In a Persian Garden', held at the Theatre Royal, Sydney, 7 July 1922, in aid of the Children's Hospital. The costumes for the matinee were design by George Lambert. [ref: The Home 1 September 1922 pp.2, 6,16-19, 38, 74]
The Sydney Morning Herald Herald reported on 8 July 1922 that the production was a series of tableaux vivants, based on verses from the 'Rubaiyat' of Omar Khayyam, with "forescore names on the programme in connection with the cast".
