Description:
Dora Alexander, aged 22, married Leslie Walford, aged 47, at St Stephen's Church, Phillip Street, Sydney on 12 March 1917. The 'Australasian' newspaper reported that the church was elaborately decorated with banks of moss and true lovers' knots and a floral wedding bell. The bride's gown was: "like a floating cloud of white tulle, with a substratum of of Limerick lace and crystal embroidery. The long train of tulle fell from a butterfly bow at the shoulders, and a tulle veil was arranged over a circlet of orange blossom.
