Description:
This carte-de-visite is one item within a small album containing photographs of members of the extended Rouse and Terry families. George Alan Terry was the third child and second son of Samuel Henry Terry (1833-1887) and his wife Caroline Jane Weaver (1843-1913), born at the Terry family estate Box Hill, near Windsor. He married his second cousin Nina Beatrice Rouse (1875-1968) of Rouse Hill house in April 1895.
