Description:
Although the identity of the family group depicted in this photograph has not been definitely established, it is believed that they are connected to the extended Thorburn family. The photograph, in a substantial timber frame, once hung in the drawing room at Meroogal, the former Thorburn family home at Meroogal. Nowra, now a house museum managed by Sydney Living Museums (Historic Houses Trust of NSW).
