Description:
This photograph was published in the Sydney Sun in January 1931 to accompany a feature story on Dora Sheller, formerly Walford, nee Alexander, who had recently returned to Australia with her husband Eric Sheller and young son Leslie Walford from thirteen months overseas. The Sun's caption for this image was: "Mrs Eric Sheller, who returned from abroad recently. She says that white kid handbags are most popular in England and the Continent and chose for herself the one shown in the photograph - a very smart affair with a crystal bar-handle and knob."
