St. Paul's (Cobbitty, N.S.W.)
Description:
The church of St Paul's, Cobbitty, had been built in 1842 but tenders were not called for the erection of a parsonage at Cobbitty until August 1869. George Allen Mansfield was the architect. [ref: SMH 5 August 1869 p.8]
At the time this photograph was taken the Parsonage was the home of the incumbent Rev Arthur Wellesley Pain and his wife Annie Bisdee Thorne.
