This promotional postcard for R.B. Orchard, watchmaker and jeweller of 793 George Street, Sydney, was produced by Orchard for distribution to fellow Freemasons. Orchard's former business premises, on the corner of George and Quay Streets, Railway Square, Sydney, is adorned with an ornamental orange tree containing a clock face. In their advertising material the company used the slogan: "Orchard's: where the watches grow".
