Governor Lachlan Macquarie sailed for New South Wales on the 22nd of May 1809, presumably bringing this volume with him from England. He resigned and left Sydney on 22 February 1822, not long before which it seems he passed this volume on to his friend, H.C. Antill, who had been appointed a Justice of the Peace in 1821.
